Covid-19 brought new challenges to the city of New Orleans, including the hard decision to cancel the traditional Mardi Gras parades in 2021. The mayor herself declared that Mardi Gras would celebrate in its own way, stating that Mardi Gras 2021 would be "different, but not canceled". Unfortunately the museum is small, and out tour was overcrowded, which made it difficult to fit into the small rooms when the costumes were being explained. Nonetheless we spent a fun hour at the New Orleans Mardi Gras Costume Museum, at the reasonable price of $15 per person.
