Washington Mardi Gras 2025 Schedule. *PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR 2025: Once you have selected a costume, you will receive a ticket to go pick up a KREWE BAG. Krewe Bag pick up is in the Gunston West room, next door to the Costume Room. Mardi Gras at The Wharf is Washington DC's biggest Mardi Gras parade. The event on March 1, 2025 will feature floats, beads, fireworks, and live music. Kids can join in on the festivities with Mardi Gras-themed craft stations while the adults sip on Thrasher’s Rum Hurricanes. The celebration will conclude with a fireworks finale over the water.
